Ingredients and tools

For a quick and easy milkshake without ice cream and blender, you need the following four basic ingredients and tools.

  • Whisk (Electric, Manual or Egg Whisk)

Step one:

Cut the bananas into small pieces into a plastic container. You can add some strawberries if you like. Use a fork to mash the cut bananas and strawberries until you see no chunks.

Step two:

Add milk, sugar, and mix using a whisk. By whisk we mean an electric whisk, a manual whisk and if you don’t have both, you can use an egg whisk for mixing.

Step Three:

Once mixed, add a few ice cubes, mix for 5 sec and there you have a delicious and creamy milkshake without using blender and ice cream. You can add ice cream to enhance the flavor if you want to. Pour the milkshake into a glass, top it with whipped cream, add any topping and ENJOY!

Glass Jar Method:

Mash bananas/strawberries using a fork just like we did in the previous method.

Step Two:

Add the mashed bananas/strawberries into the glass jar, add sugar, milk and place the lid on the jar.

Useful Tips

Most people think that no ice cream milkshakes made with basic ingredients have a thin texture and don’t have the right consistency and that’s not true. The thing is, it is not-adding enough bananas and strawberries that make the milkshake watery and thin.

If you feel your shake is thin, mash a banana and mix it with the milkshake using a whisk to make it thick enough. To take your milkshake to another level, you may add 3-4 smashed Oreo cookies on top of your shake. If not Oreo, you can go with 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate or 2-3 tablespoons of finely chopped chocolate candies. Do let us know how do you prefer to make a milkshake?
